Legal Associates

We are a small outfit, and we practice a relatively flat-organisational structure. The expectation is for our associates to act as fellow professionals and work with us as peers in each brief. As such, we typically prefer candidates who are ready for hands-on work, prepared to take lead as solicitors and are reliable.

If you are looking to scale up your skillset and experience as a barrister and solicitor, this might be the right place for you.

Minimum requirements: good command of English and Malay, at least a 2.1 degree (or equivalent), have / able to obtain a valid Practising Certificate

Remuneration range

1st year: RM3,500-4,500

2nd year: RM4,000-RM5,500

3rd year: RM4,500-RM6,500

Pupils

In our mind, law / bar school was there to equip us with the legal fundamentals and more importantly, the skills to think critically, problem solve and how find answers. As such, successful candidates tend to be those who approach pupillage as a space to learn to and apply and hone these skills (with instructions and guidance from the master, of course).
